1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Mitra Project platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Platform Purpose
The Mitra Project is an independent transparency platform that grades kratom vendor products using lab-verified Certificates of Analysis (COAs). We are not a vendor, retailer, or healthcare provider. Our grading system is based on laboratory data and community input, and is provided for informational purposes only.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account information current. One account per person is permitted.
4. User Conduct
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines when using the platform. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at the discretion of our moderation team.
5. Vendor Subscriptions
Vendor subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Vendors must maintain accurate product and lab data.
6. Donor Contributions
War chest donations are recurring subscriptions that fund blind-buy audits, legislative advocacy, and platform operations. Donor tier benefits are provided as described on the pricing page. Contributions are not tax-deductible unless otherwise stated.
7. Intellectual Property
The Mitra Project grading methodology, algorithms, and platform design are proprietary. User-generated content (reviews, forum posts) remains the property of the original author, with a license granted to The Mitra Project for display and distribution on the platform.
8. Disclaimers
The Mitra Project does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. Grades and scores reflect laboratory data and community input at the time of analysis. We make no guarantees regarding product safety, efficacy, or legal status. Users should consult qualified professionals for health and legal matters.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Mitra Project and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via platform notification.
