Millions of people use kratom. Almost none of them know what is actually in the product they are buying. Labels are unaudited. Potency claims are unverified. There is no independent standard. We built one.
No independent verification
Vendors self-report alkaloid content with zero third-party oversight. A label claiming 1.2% mitragynine may contain a fraction of that — or three times as much.
No standardised grading
There is no industry framework for product quality. Price and branding are the only signals available to most consumers.
No harm reduction infrastructure
Users seeking accurate safety information face vendor marketing, forum posts, and incomplete science — not peer-reviewed research.
The Mitra Method

Step 1 — Lab Science
Every product is tested by an ISO-17025 accredited laboratory. We verify alkaloid content, solvent residuals, heavy metals, and microbials. No exceptions.
Step 2 — The Formula
Four dimensions. One score. Potency Accuracy (40%), Solvent Safety (30%), Batch Consistency (20%), Transparency Audit (10%). The math is public.
Step 3 — Public Directory
Results are published in a searchable public directory. Grades are immutable — once published, they cannot be altered. The record is permanent.
Grades run from F to AAA.
AAA and AA grades require Blind Buy verification. Manufacturer data alone caps at Grade A.
